About the Opportunity
The Customer Service Coordinator role is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of the Customer Service department. This position provides vital administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient workflows and accurate handling of customer and patient information. The role contributes by managing communication channels, case distribution, and data entry, which supports the organization's commitment to service quality and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Assist Customer Service leadership and staff with administrative and clerical tasks to maintain efficient workflows.
- Electronically file documents on customer and patient accounts to ensure accurate and timely record-keeping.
- Monitor and distribute incoming cases, faxes, voicemails, and emails to meet Service Level Agreements for customer inquiries.
- Access, enter, and update customer account information in Laboratory Information System, CRM, and other platforms.
- Complete required case management including written communication with internal and external customers.
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA, confidentiality, and compliance policies, procedures, and standards.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by Customer Service leadership.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Ensure administrative, physical, and technical cybersecurity controls are followed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma minimum.
- At least 1 year of general administrative or clerical experience.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Preferable knowledge of Salesforce.com.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team with a positive attitude.
- Capability to work under tight schedules and multitask.
- Self-starter with flexibility and ability to follow direction.
Pay Range and Compensation Package
- $17-$19 per hour.
- Compensation depends on qualifications, experience, and geographical location.
