Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answers inquiries from customers to provide follow-up for current or prospective customer orders.
  • Affords assistance to Engineering and Sales to ensure customer needs are met on a timely basis regarding customer requirements.
  • Receives, processes, and maintains signed customer purchase orders from the Sales department, releases, and forecasts these communications via computer (EDI/SAP), fax, or e-mail.
  • Maintains SAP and customer modules/portals: Ford, GM, Stellantis, Tesla, and any Tier customers.
  • Collaborates closely with production, shipping, material disposition (Raw material ordering), and scheduling to ensure customer orders are processed promptly.
  • Reviews customer orders in SAP daily. Reviews customer changes and issues.
  • Willing to learn and adapt to our changing customer environment/systems.
  • Conducts a daily review of the customer systems and portals for Ford, GM, Stellantis, and Tesla. This includes assessing weekly customer delivery ratings.
  • Understands and negotiates customer expedited requests.
