About the Role

The Customer Service Clerk is the primary point of contact for customers, assisting them with product or service information, processing orders, handling returns or exchanges, and resolving complaints. The goal is to enhance the customer experience by providing timely and accurate assistance, fostering customer loyalty and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Process yearbook accessory orders and prep for production.
  • Assist Yearbook Cover Desk team in cover specification entry and communication to Customer Service team.
  • Support Customer Service team with various order entry needs.
  • Data entry into our Yearbook Business System.
  • Back-up other admins during absences.
  • Filing and e-filing duties.
  • Assist in other departments (Shipping, Quality Control, Handwork, Billing, etc.) as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required. Associate’s degree or 2 years of work experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of the organization.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
  • Occasionally required to walk.
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Work hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Central Time

Location

Onsite at 252 Drive, Edwardsville, Kansas.
