About the role
The client is seeking a Temporary Catering Call Center Associate to support catering customers and store teams. This role serves as a central point of contact for catering inquiries and orders, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring orders are accurately entered, updated, and communicated to stores for execution. This position is customer service and administrative in nature and plays a critical role in supporting catering operations across multiple store locations.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming catering calls and respond to customer inquiries regarding menu offerings, pricing, availability, and order status.
- Take and enter catering orders accurately into the FoodStorm catering management system.
- Process order changes, cancellations, and special requests.
- Monitor and respond to catering emails in a timely and professional manner.
- Confirm order details with customers and assist with issue resolution.
- Coordinate with store catering teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Support online order management and follow up on customer requests as needed.
- Maintain accurate customer and order records.
- Assist with billing inquiries and payment-related questions.
- Provide a positive, professional customer experience on every interaction.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Minimum 1+ years previous call center, customer service, hospitality, retail, or administrative experience.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, email, and Teams.
- Strong customer service and telephone communication skills.
- Excellent written communication skills, including email correspondence.
- Comfortable with data entry and working in multiple computer systems simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with catering, food service, or order management software is a plus (training will be provided).
