About the role
This position assists customers in their shopping experience by providing efficient and courteous service. It reports to the Office Manager.
Responsibilities
- Implement Casentino Customer Service Standards
- Provide team members with necessary information to perform their roles
- Be knowledgeable about products and accurately answer customer questions
- Operate, clean, and maintain equipment safely and competently
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance in the front end
- Handle returns, exchanges, and price adjustments efficiently and courteously
- Monitor front end activity and make adjustments as needed
- Intervene quickly and courteously when a cashier requests assistance
- Act as a cashier when needed to ensure a friendly customer experience
- Resolve customer complaints professionally and recognize when to involve management
- Comply with health regulations, sanitation guidelines, and safety procedures
- Promote ads and specials to increase store sales and profits
- Navigate the Kronos system and support other stores or departments as needed
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Liquor license obtained prior to first day of work (if applicable)
- Completion of ongoing training and development as outlined in the Cosentino’s Learning Plan
