Customer Service Banker

Full-time position in Alton, NH, including rotating Saturdays.

About the role

We’re looking for a Customer Service Banker who thrives on creating a welcoming environment, building trusted relationships, and delivering a positive banking experience. You’ll support customers with everyday banking needs while helping to connect them with the products and services that best support their financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a working knowledge of banking products and services while promoting them to the customer
• Demonstrate an openness and willingness to switch between the teller and customer service positions as the needs arise
• Complete individual and business account deposit/withdrawal transactions, account opening and maintenance activities including checking, savings and time deposits
• Provide a professional customer service experience while obtaining new business opportunity referrals through needs-based inquiry
• Respond to questions and resolve problems or concerns for customers effectively and efficiently

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum one year experience in customer service and/or cash handling role
• Experience utilizing software applications to perform customer service duties
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Must be able to work rotating Saturdays
• Ability to travel between branch locations as needed
• Prior bank teller transaction knowledge a plus but not required

Physical Requirements

• Regular standing and movement in a branch environment
• Visual and manual dexterity to operate office equipment
• Occasional handling of up to 40 pounds, and some bending and lifting
• Independent travel to other branches or locations may be required
