Customer Service Banker

Responsibilities

• Maintain a working knowledge of banking products and services while promoting them to the customer
• Demonstrate an openness and willingness to switch between the teller and customer service positions as the needs arise
• Complete individual and business account deposit/withdrawal transactions, account opening and maintenance activities including checking, savings and time deposits
• Provide a professional customer service experience while obtaining new business opportunity referrals through needs based inquiry
• Responds to questions and resolve problems or concerns for customers effectively and efficiently

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum one year experience in customer service and/or cash handling role
• Ability to work rotating Saturdays
• Ability to travel between branch locations as needed
• Physical requirements: regular standing and movement, visual and manual dexterity to operate office equipment, occasional handling of up to 40 pounds, some bending and lifting; independent travel to other branches or locations may be required

Skills

• Experience utilizing software applications to perform customer service duties
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Prior bank teller transaction knowledge a plus but not required

Pay

Starting pay begins at $21.63 per hour and is negotiable based on level of experience.

Schedule

Full-time, including rotating Saturdays.
