Customer Service Attendant Floater

About the role

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly and hard-working Customer Service Attendant Floater to join our team full-time. As one of the most respected and trusted food service companies in the nation since 1960, we provide comprehensive food services with a focus on quality, freshness, and value.

Responsibilities

• Receive and organize deliveries of merchandise, including soft drinks, bakery products, snacks, specialty foods, and other foodservice products at client locations.
• Merchandise products according to established standards, ensuring shelves, coolers, vending machines, and market displays are fully stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
• Rotate merchandise and remove expired, damaged, or stale products.
• Ensure refrigerated and perishable products are properly stored and maintained.
• Maintain attractive, clean, and organized product displays and merchandising areas.
• Monitor product assortment and communicate inventory needs, shortages, and customer preferences.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and merchandising standards.

Requirements

• Ability to travel between various locations using your own personal vehicle (company vehicle and gas card are not provided).
• Outgoing personality with skills to promote products.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to speak effectively to customers and employees.
• Ability to perform calculations in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
