CUSTOMER SERVICE ATTENDANT

Horizon Health is a Critical Access, Rural Health Facility with 25 inpatient beds in Paris, IL, and multiple outpatient clinic settings including Family Practice and Specialty Clinics in Paris and surrounding cities. Serving residents of Edgar County since 1968, we provide community education, emergency services, and outpatient care.

About the role

The Customer Service Attendant takes a proactive approach in greeting and assisting patients and visitors. This role focuses on developing and maintaining excellent public relations and customer service, assisting customers with mobility issues, and providing directional assistance across the Horizon Health Campus.

Responsibilities

• Treat each patient, visitor, and vendor with compassion, respect, and privacy.
• Transport customers into, around, and exiting the facility who need assistance, ensuring safety and effectiveness.
• Provide directional assistance for customers navigating to any destination on the Horizon Health Campus.
• Maintain a safe, secure, clean, and sanitary environment.
• Monitor and maintain adequate supplies at the work station.
• Proactively seek out and identify persons in need of assistance.

Requirements

• Good verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to wear Personal Prote Equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time (based on current guidelines).
• Ability to work in a variety of inclement weather-related conditions.
• Ability to perform job functions including lifting, pushing, pulling, and walking for extended periods of time.

Schedule

Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, Friday: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.

Pay

Pay ranges from $15.00/hour to $20.60/hour, based on applicable years of experience.
