Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational and time-management skills along with problem-solving abilities and previous Customer Service experience, preferably in chemicals and materials or another related industry.
2+ years of successful customer service experience
Detailed-oriented, reliable, able to think on your feet and problem solve
Proven ability to work effectively with both external customers and internal operations
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience using Microsoft office and SOP software
Outstanding relationship building and customer service skills
Highly organized and detail focused approach
Able to investigate issues and develop a solution
Interested candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for customer orders, satisfactorily managing the order process from receipt of order to delivery
- Effectively communicate with customers, informing them as required of order status, delivery times and any potential issues
- Manage all communicate all pricing information to ensure accurate invoicing
- Serve as the front line response response for resolving customer order issues
- Collaborate and communicate with Account Mangers in the field with regard to customer orders and customer satisfaction
- Build relationships with customer's purchasing department personnel to understand and anticipate their needs
- Efficiently use internal ERP, CRM, Demand Planning and other software to successfully complete customer orders
- Place orders directly with outside suppliers for direct shipment when required
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with warehouse personnel
- Use strong people skills to tactfully and patiently address complex problems
- Complete special projects as assigned by management as needed
