Customer Service Associate - Industrial Machinery

About the role

As a member of our team, you will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment where your ideas and contributions are valued. The Customer Service Associate provides pre- and post-sale customer service and support across multiple product sub-families, delivering timely responses to inquiries via telephone, email, or website chatbot in an inbound or outbound service center. You will process customer orders, bills, accounts, and applications for service, maintenance, and termination, while troubleshooting and resolving customer complaints.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage standard quotations, sales orders, and returns in SAP according to established goals, handling requests received via phone or electronically from internal and external customers.
• Handle inquiries regarding order status, inventory availability, delivery status, and pricing.
• Manage international transactions and requests as needed.
• Follow correct processes to communicate with other Nordson teams to resolve problems and obtain necessary information for inquiries.
• Learn and use Nordson case management technology to retrieve and update the status of each task assignment.
• Review case management requests to assign priority status and route them to the correct customer service desk.

Requirements

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two to four years of customer service representative (CSR) experience preferred.
• Previous experience with SAP and Salesforce preferred.
• Previous experience with case management systems preferred.

Schedule

This is an onsite position at our Duluth location, Monday through Friday.
