Customer Service Associate - Closing Shift
Pay
Starting hiring pay: $11.00 per hour. Within your first year you can earn up to an extra $1.50 per hour through additional training, certifications, and performance evaluations. Raises are paid weekly (bi‑weekly in some states, e.g., California).
About the role
As a Customer Service Associate you are a key part of the team, responsible for the entire customer experience. Duties include taking orders in the drive‑thru, assembling orders, delivering food to customers, cleaning the dining room, and interacting with guests. The environment is upbeat and fast‑paced, and we hire for all shifts — opening, closing, and everything in between. No prior restaurant experience is required; this is an entry‑level position with paid training for every new associate.
Responsibilities
- Take orders from customers and process payments efficiently
- Assemble and deliver food orders
- Clean tables, floors, and other areas of the restaurant
- Follow proper safety procedures when handling and/or preparing food
- Multitask in a high‑volume, fast‑paced setting
- Work together as a team, assisting other crewmembers to ensure continuity of service
- Comply with company policies and take initiative
- Align with Raising Cane’s culture by balancing working hard and having fun
Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Ability to lift and carry, push or pull heavy objects up to 50 pounds
- Ability to kneel, bend, twist, stoop, ascend/descend stairs, and reach/grasp objects (including above head and below waistline)
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to show up to scheduled shifts on time
- Work under pressure and at a fast pace
