Customer Service Associate

Waterway Carwash is looking to hire a part-time Customer Service Representative (CSR) to work at our Corporate Office in Chesterfield, MO. This role is part of our Marketing and Customer Service Team and provides outstanding customer service via email and telephone to customers and members of our loyalty programs.

About the role

The CSR plays a vital role in supporting customer satisfaction and retention by building strong relationships, delivering a high-quality experience, and maintaining and growing long-term membership engagement. This position is onsite at our Chesterfield administrative support office and reports to the Customer Service Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service through clear, professional communication while managing a high volume of customer calls and emails
• Demonstrate patience, empathy, and professionalism, especially in complex or challenging interactions
• Work both independently and collaboratively to resolve customer questions and concerns efficiently
• Accurately maintain customer account information and interaction history using CRM tools
• Support the Marketing team with loyalty programs and the execution of sales and marketing initiatives
• Actively support customer retention by identifying needs, resolving concerns, and reinforcing the value of ongoing membership
• Recognize opportunities to improve customer experience and contribute ideas that strengthen long-term engagement
• Help turn customer feedback into positive outcomes that build trust and encourage continued loyalty

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age or older
• Must have a high school diploma/GED or above
• Minimum 6 months of customer service and relationship-building experience
• Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel)
• Availability to work Monday through Thursday mornings, 8:30-12:30, onsite at our corporate office
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
• If selected to be hired, willingness to submit to a drug screening and full background check

Physical Requirements

• Environmental: Office-based, with requirement to work onsite at locations outside for limited periods of time
• Physical: Must be able to walk and sit for extended periods of time
• Vision and Hearing: Far and near visual acuity, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech from other sounds
• Language: Must be able to fluently speak and understand English when communicating with team members, managers, and customers for business-related purposes
• Attendance: Maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance. Work as assigned schedule

Pay

Competitive compensation rate starting at $18/hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

Part-time, 4 days per week, Monday through Thursday mornings. Availability for additional hours as needed is preferred.
