Pay
Starting hiring pay: $14.00 per hour. Within your first year you can earn up to an extra $1.50 per hour through additional training, certifications, and performance evaluations. Raising Cane’s pays weekly (bi‑weekly in some states, e.g., California).
About the role
As a Customer Service Associate you are a key part of the team, impacting every area of the customer experience. Your main priority is providing great customer service: taking orders in the drive‑thru, assembling orders, delivering food, cleaning the dining room, and interacting with guests. We hire for all shifts — opening, closing, and everything in between — and welcome candidates with backgrounds in customer service, retail, cashiering, restaurant serving, kitchen, cook, prep, drive‑thru, or any service‑oriented role. No prior restaurant experience is required; this is an entry‑level position with paid training for every new associate. We value growth, community impact, and a fun workplace.
Responsibilities
- Lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds
- Kneel, bend, twist, or stoop
- Ascend or descend stairs
- Reach and grasp objects (including above head and below waistline)
- Communicate clearly, verbally and in writing
- Arrive for scheduled shifts on time
- Clean tables, floors, and other restaurant areas
- Take customer orders and process payments efficiently
- Follow proper food safety and handling procedures
- Multitask effectively in a fast‑paced environment
- Provide quick, friendly service to every customer
- Work collaboratively with crewmembers to ensure continuity of service
- Perform well under pressure and at a fast pace
