Customer Service Assistant - Retail Trucking Insurance Agency - AF Group – La Palma, CA Campus

Responsibilities

• Takes client phone calls and communicates policy change requests to Team Members.
• Issues Certificates of insurance for clients.
• Inputs potential business into the core C1 system and various online platforms.
• Creates policy files in Image Right System.
• Daily and weekly filing of correspondence to Image Right System.
• Processes client payments in C1 system, assists with payments to Liberty Premium Finance via PBS billing system.
• Manages policy receipt, reviews policies for accuracy, and emails or mails them to retail customers.
• Works effectively on the assigned team.

Requirements

• Learns all systems and stays current with changes and updates.
• Conducts limited research when necessary.
• Completes basic job-specific training within the first three months of employment.
• Maintains a quality score of 98% or above.
• Maintains a metric score of 85-115% with 80-100% time on task.
• Maintains a customer service score of 80% or above.
• Able to interact with others in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Prior experience in customer service, data entry, administrative, or clerical roles is preferred.
• Retail Truck Insurance Agency experience is preferred.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities (SKA)

• Proficient in Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• After one year of employment, takes required courses and passes state exam to receive California Property and Casualty License.
• Professional demeanor, customer service skills, and problem-solving abilities are critical.
• Detail-oriented and flexible with ability to multi-task assignments.

Working Conditions

• Hybrid employee, work performed both remotely and in an office setting.
• May require in-office attendance a few times each month after training period.

Pay Range

Actual compensation decision relies on the consideration of internal equity, candidate’s skills and professional experience, geographic location, market, and other potential factors. It is not standard practice for an offer to be at or near the top of the range, and therefore a reasonable estimate for this role is between $34,700 and $58,050.
