The Role
We’re looking for an Entry-Level Client Sales Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll learn how to prospect for new business, build customer relationships, and support the management of a developing book of freight customers across the U.S. and Canada.
What You’ll do
- Build and develop customer relationships through outbound prospecting and daily client communication
- SUPPORT TRUCKLOAD FREIGHT SALES WITH A FOCUS ON RELIABILITY AND STRONG SERVICE
- PARTNER WITH INTERNAL TEAMS TO ENSURE SMOOTH SHIPMENT EXECUTION AND POSITIVE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCES
- WORK TOWARD AND EXCEED ACTIVITY AND PERFORMANCE KPIS (CALLS, SHIPMENTS, TRACKING, ETC.)
- LEARN AND USE OTR’S TECHNOLOGY AND TOOLS TO MAKE INFORMED DECISIONS
- GROW YOUR PIPELINE USING PHONE, EMAIL, LINKEDIN, AND OTHER OUTREACH METHODS
- FOLLOW OUR STRUCTURED SALES TRAINING PROGRAM WHILE DEVELOPING YOUR OWN SALE STYLE
Experience/Qualifications
- 0–2 years of sales, customer service, or related experience (logistics experience is a plus but not required)
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Highly motivated, competitive, and resilient mindset
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Coachable with a strong desire to build a career in sales and logistics
