Customer Retention Representative Part- time AM Shift (Remote)

About the role

Part-Time Customer Retention Representative position at American Income Life. This is a remote/work-from-home role with part-time availability and morning or evening shifts. Representatives help customers understand the value of keeping their coverage and provide policy maintenance, playing a key role in retention efforts.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions regarding coverage, premium, and other policy information.
• Compose business letters and communicate effectively through written and verbal communication.
• Work independently and make judgment decisions.
• Make outbound calls to existing policyholders to collect delinquent premium payments.
• Resell the benefits of policies and provide excellent customer service.
• Use various sales techniques to increase policyholder retention.
• Record policyholder information for reporting and transactional purposes.
• Maintain extensive telephone contact using appropriate telephone skills.
• Exercise discretion and tact when serving customers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
• Minimum typing speed of 30 wpm required.
• Call center experience preferred.
• Some insurance and/or sales experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to solve complex policyholder issues with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
• Knowledge of life and/or health insurance terminology preferred.

Pay

• Competitive compensation reflecting expertise and contribution.

• Bilingual (Spanish) hourly pay differential.

Schedule

• Part‑time positions available.
• Morning and evening shifts offered.
