About The Role

We’re looking for a Customer Operations Lead to own the customer-facing work that cannot or should not be automated with AI. You’ll own the systems around successful customer activation and engagement as the implementation counterpart to our GTM Engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Own the human-in-the-loop layer of HUD’s operations across our customers - data suppliers (vendors) and frontier labs and enterprises (buyers)
  • Jump into customer conversations when a human touch is needed to build trust, clarify context, or move things forward
  • Resolve contract, onboarding, and platform blockers by working with the right internal owners
  • Turn recurring customer issues, feedback, and learnings into better processes, platform, and communications
  • Build lightweight systems that streamline workflows or makes resolving problems easier the next time they occur

Experience

  • Experience in customer operations, business operations, consulting, or similar roles
  • Demonstrated judgement in customer-facing situations - you know when to be helpful, when to push back, and when to escalate
  • A high attention to detail and strong follow-through
  • Used AI tools to improve their productivity

Strong Candidates May Also Have

  • Early-stage startup experience with ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
  • Experience working with technical customers
  • Familiarity with RL, e.g., you know what environments, evals, and benchmarks are
  • Thrive in unstructured problem spaces

Team & Company Details

  • Team Size : ~15 people currently, mostly full-time in-person, but some remote.
  • Our team: Our team includes 4 International Olympiad medalists (IOI, ILO, IPhO), serial AI startup founders, and researchers with publications at ICLR, NeurIPS, etc.
  • Company stage: We have 8 figures in funding and high revenue growth. We’re scaling profitably and quickly to meet very strong demand.

Logistics

  • Employment : Full-time.
  • Location : On-site only, for now. You can join the team in the San Francisco Bay Area or Singapore offices.
  • Visa Sponsorship : We provide support for relocation and visas for strong full-time candidates to the US or Singapore.

Timeline

  • Applications are rolling. The process is 2 technical interviews and a 2-3 day work trial.
