About the role

This role is a key member of the CPS America team, focusing on the reliable three-phase string inverter technology. You will collaborate with our customers on a daily basis, assist with product suggestions, interconnection applications, and Q&A. Additionally, you will work closely with our product development team to ensure our products meet required certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers on a daily basis to provide product suggestions, interconnection applications, and Q&A.
  • Work closely with the product development team to ensure products meet required certifications at local, state, and national levels.
  • Manage and grow the Technical Support team, ensuring they are a pillar of excellence for CPS America's success.
  • Streamline the legal process, handle contracts, RFPs, NDA agreements, and terms and conditions, and support IT and administrative requests.
  • Solve performance issues and ensure they get back to 100% through consistent innovation and hard work.
  • Integrate 3-phase string products into Utility-Scale sites, making an immediate and profound impact on the company.
  • Aid the sales team in expanding and maintaining the customer base, helping lead CPS America's exciting growth into 2024.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical support or applications engineering role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with project management tools and software.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and power electronics.
  • Understanding of solar PV technologies and industry standards.
