Customer Master Data Supervisor

We are seeking a Customer Master Data (CMD) Supervisor to lead our Customer Master Data team in North America, ensuring outstanding technical execution and operational excellence.

About the role

This position reports directly to the Master Data Operations Manager and oversees all customer master data processes for Saint-Gobain’s North America region. The CMD Supervisor will drive team performance, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration to support business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Establish and monitor department goals, including error rates, cycle times, and business support, ensuring team performance, responsiveness, and accuracy.
• Ensure Customer Master Data support is available during U.S. holidays and normal business hours.
• Lead effective onboarding, training, and development of team members.
• Communicate and train internal stakeholders (e.g., Sales, CSRs) on key master data processes, such as COA and CMD, including document requirements.
• Investigate issues and collaborate with team members to implement timely, accurate solutions.
• Act as a change agent, partnering with stakeholders on business changes or new requirements while maintaining team engagement.
• Develop and maintain policies and processes to achieve company goals, identifying opportunities for streamlining or automation.
• Lead cross-functional discussions and meetings related to Customer Master Data.
• Ensure processes align with internal controls and company policies, including international trade compliance.
• Provide timely, professional communication to internal customers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, IT (ERP), Credit, Sales Force, IT/D&A, and other teams to support projects, troubleshooting, and system testing.
• Troubleshoot systems, including SAP and other tools used by the Customer Master team.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on cross-functional project teams.
• Support business objectives and "must-win battles" while ensuring compliance for all assigned activities.

Requirements

• Must be onsite 3 days a week in Malvern, PA HQ.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance or a related field within a complex, matrix organization.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience is highly preferred.
• Dynamic individual with the ability to motivate and lead teams.
• Self-starter capable of driving activities independently.
• Ability to solve complex problems involving competing priorities and make data-driven decisions aligned with business strategies.
• Outstanding organization, communication, and presentation skills.
