Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and oversee day-to-day logistics operations.
• Plan and review, in collaboration with the Logistics Manager, all logistics processes to ensure they meet company standards and customer service specifications.
• Establish work schedules and procedures, coordinating activities of workers to ensure optimal shift/team logistics.
• Accountable for site Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Work in collaboration with customers in all aspects of operations.
• Meet regularly with team members collectively and individually to monitor progress, track performance, coach, counsel, and recognize successes.
• Cultivate team spirit with Diversity and Inclusion initiatives and promote cooperation by improving internal processes.
• Carry out performance evaluations, recommend performance awards, and/or merit increases when appropriate.
• Address performance problems through corrective action and disciplinary processes.
• Understand labor agreements and maintain positive labor relations with all employees.
• Responsible for implementation of health & safety and security initiatives, practices, and behaviors, ensuring adherence to company rules and policies.
• Provide appropriate orientation for employees and Lead Hands, equipping them with necessary information, technology, and materials to perform their jobs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• One (1) year or more experience in transportation, warehouse, or distribution environment preferred.
• 0 to one (1) year of direct supervisory/leadership experience required.
• DOT Regulated: No.

Pay

Annual salary range: $65,000 - $70,000 based on experience. Pay type: Exempt/salaried, paid twice per month.

Schedule

Monday–Saturday, 05:00 AM–05:00 PM (must be flexible).
