About the role

White Stuff was established in 1985 through a simple idea. This idea grew and now we have shops and concessions in the UK and internationally, selling women's and men's clothing as well as beautiful accessories and homeware. Our original prints (all designed in house), intricate details and considered design touches reflect our personality and make us subtly distinctive.

The primary objective of this role is to ensure we are the best on the high street for delivering an amazing customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Customer Experience
  • Meet the A.C.E pillars (Be Friendly, Be Inspiring and Be Invaluable) throughout the Customer Journey.
  • Understand shop KPIs and work to continuously improve them.
  • Promote multichannel shopping by using the mobile point of sale system (mPOS) to show customers the products available across our channels and create endless aisle orders.
  • Engage customers with our brand by signing them up to email newsletters, tagging their purchases to their profile, and sending e-receipts in line with data protection regulations.
  • Use knowledge of promotions or discounts available to inform customers and increase sales.
  • Assist in events including Customer Event and preview evenings.
• Product Presentation and Visual Standards
  • Maintain high visual standards in-store.
  • Support with floor moves, mannequin and window displays, and replenishment.
  • Understand the features (fits, style, fabrics) of our product ranges and explain these to customers to support their buying decisions.
• Shop Operations
  • Process deliveries efficiently and ensure products are replenished and always available for customers.
  • Support stock management processes such as stocktakes.
  • Use company resources such as the White Stuff website, Looking White Stuff, the Tea Room, email communications, window guidelines, and brand posts to engage with customers and ensure compliance with daily/weekly actions.
  • Be a team player and play an active role in team briefs.
  • Understand and comply with Health & Safety and emergency procedures in store.
  • Maintain a professional approach to internal customers, head office departments, centre management (where applicable), and any other visitors.
  • Efficiently and accurately fulfill ship from store and Click + Collect processes.
• Doing Good Stuff
  • Hold an awareness of our charity partner and the positive impact this has, including supporting any events or charity promotions.
  • Understand our approach to ethical sourcing and environmental impact to be able to explain this to customers and the team.
