Customer Experience Representative

About the role
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Customer Experience Representative to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role requires on-site presence 50% of the time in East Stroudsburg, PA, and reports to the Customer Service Manager.
Process orders from customers in a timely manner, ensuring order accuracy and compliance with customer requirements. Handle customer requests or issues, process sample requests, and assist with general office duties assigned to the customer service department.

Responsibilities
- Answer telephone calls and follow up as needed
- Order processing: take orders, print orders, allocate inventory, complete purchase orders for direct shipments, arrange freight, and meet customer-specific instructions
- Order acknowledgment: update order comments, provide timely updates to customers on delivery status, and review customer purchase order instructions
- Interface with customers regarding orders and resolve any issues
- Process direct shipments with suppliers and carriers
- Handle sample requests and customer complaints, including documentation, disposition, and corrective action
- Maintain Certificate of Analysis files
- Update customer information such as addresses and telephone numbers
- Add customer-specific requirements to comments
- Perform general office duties: filing, copying, faxing, and word processing
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Promote teamwork within the department and across all departments
- Understand and adhere to department procedures and policies

- Assume additional responsibilities as directed
Requirements
- 4-year college degree (preferred)
- Ability to multitask
