About the role
The Customer Experience Manager (CEM) is a key leadership position within Five Below stores. Reporting to the Store Manager, the CEM oversees the Support Lead, Lead Cashier(s), and all associates, managing both front-end operations and cash management. The CEM also serves as the Manager on Duty, driving key performance indicators and brand loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all associates and managers are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers
- Lead Front End Operations
- Train staff on the High Fives of Customer Service
- Maintain store cleanliness and readiness for customers
- Perform store opening and closing procedures
- Supervise, train, coach, and develop all associates
- Drive store sales and control expenses
- Manage Key Metrics: Sales, ADS, CSAT Scores, and Expense Control
- Operate cash register, move merchandise, and perform other tasks as required
Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- College experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years of management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Creative thinking and ability to maintain composure under pressure
