About the role

The Customer Experience Manager (CEM) is a key leadership position within Five Below stores. Reporting to the Store Manager, the CEM oversees the Support Lead, Lead Cashier(s), and all associates, managing both front-end operations and cash management. The CEM also serves as the Manager on Duty, driving key performance indicators and brand loyalty.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all associates and managers are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers
  • Lead Front End Operations
  • Train staff on the High Fives of Customer Service
  • Maintain store cleanliness and readiness for customers
  • Perform store opening and closing procedures
  • Supervise, train, coach, and develop all associates
  • Drive store sales and control expenses
  • Manage Key Metrics: Sales, ADS, CSAT Scores, and Expense Control
  • Operate cash register, move merchandise, and perform other tasks as required

Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • College experience preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative thinking and ability to maintain composure under pressure
