Customer Experience Banker - Minneapolis, MN (Northeast)
About the Role

As a Customer Experience Banker, you are a Financial Concierge for our walk-in customers, responsible for retaining and growing consumer and business customer relationships by proactively identifying financial goals and needs and recommending appropriate banking products and services.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
- Be proficient in understanding and educating customers on consumer deposit products and consumer lending.
- Proactively identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and sourcing referrals from customers and partners.
- Educate and refer customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build strong partnerships.
- Adhere to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, consumer lending, business banking, business lending, communication, and presentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED and minimum of 1 year customer service or military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role or a Bachelor's Degree.
- This position requires fingerprints as mandated by NMLS regulations and is subject to additional background checks.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year or more in customer service in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales.
- Cash handling skills.
- Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services.
This is a non-exempt position eligible for overtime pay. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Huntington will not sponsor immigration benefits for this role.
Pay
The compensation range for this position is $23.00–$24.00 hourly. Actual compensation will vary based on factors including location, experience, and education.
