Customer Experience Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY

The Customer Experience Assistant is responsible for the guest experience from beginning to end by providing quality service and attention to our guests. This position is perfect for someone who wants variety in their day, enjoys meeting new people, and is looking for advancement opportunities.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Safe driving skills
• A valid Michigan driver’s license with an insurable driving record
• Ability to read, speak and write English in order to fulfill job functions in an understandable way
• Ability to operate a computer and telephone system

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the overall quality of every customer experience from proper greeting to re-delivery
• Ensures that every customer is greeted within 5 Seconds of entering the Service Lane
• Welcome customers with a friendly, professional attitude
• Pick up and deliver customer vehicles safely and professionally
• Cook up and deliver customer vehicles safely and professionally
• Cook up and deliver customer vehicles safely and professionally
• Coordinate customer transportation and pickup appointments
• Prepare rental agreements and manage our rental vehicle fleet
• Keep rental vehicles organized, fueled, and ready for customers
• Assist the service department with customer support and daily operations
• Communicate with customers to ensure an exceptional experience from start to finish
• Jump in wherever needed to help the team succeed
• Follow all required safety and hazardous materials procedures as required by dealership policies and applicable laws and regulations, including OSHA and MIOSHAP
• Positively work on a diverse team

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting customers with miscellaneous items
• Relating positively and courteously with diverse groups of people (customers, visitors, and staff)
• Maintain a professional image and positively represent DeNooyer Chevrolet
• May be required to put gas in vehicles
• All other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

• Ability to walk and stand for 6+ hours per day
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and stretch
• Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds
• Ability to work in conditions such as: varying temperatures, weather elements, noise, dust, and fumes
• Ability to move within different departments at the dealership
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
