Customer Engagement Rep
About the role
The Customer Engagement Representative supports Pine Environmental Services by handling customer inquiries related to rental equipment, sales of products and services, and assisting in branch sales and marketing efforts.
Responsibilities
- Intake customer inquiries for equipment rental, order status, and general questions.
- Develop and issue quotes for products and services.
- Follow up on quotes, record outcomes in Pine’s database.
- Review customer orders to ensure accuracy of equipment, accessories, quantities, price, and special contract instructions.
- Aid in branch sales and marketing efforts through phone calls and emails.
- Communicate customer Order Confirmations and follow up upon delivery.
- Update Pine’s database with details and Call-Off information.
- Aid in scheduling delivery and pick-up of orders.
- Assist in locating equipment and shipping logistics.
- Help provide solutions when customers have issues.
- Enter repair orders when needed.
- Setup product replacement when needed.
- Maintain contract files and customer correspondence.
- Record and investigate customer inquiries.
- Process POs when necessary.
- Billing and invoicing customers.
- Handle credit card processing when needed.
- Promote a positive Health and Safety attitude in the workplace.
- Have a basic understanding of Pine’s equipment and its usage.
- Keep a clean, organized, well-maintained office.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or Higher
- 2 years of Customer Service Experience, preferably in the environmental/safety or rental field
Core Competencies
- Excellent Communication Skills - Written, Verbal, Interpersonal, and Phone
- Ability to think analytically, with focus on problem troubleshooting
- A flexible and strong team player that can work in a fast-paced environment
- Microsoft Office proficient

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This is a non-safety sensitive position. The employee will be in an office environment. The position is 70% sedentary and 30% active, involving activities such as walking, standing, bending, stretching, and climbing (ladder).
Qualifications
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs assisted or unassisted.
Skills
A basic understanding of Pine’s equipment and its usage is required.
