Job Summary
Dominion Energy is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Customer Contact Specialist. This role is ideal for those passionate about making a positive impact through innovative and sustainable energy solutions. As a central point of contact for our Customer Contact Operations Center, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have a seamless and efficient experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
- 0-2 years related experience, preferably in Customer Service or Contact Center environments.
- Good command of the English language, including spelling and grammar, with bilingual Spanish skills a plus.
- Basic desktop computer proficiency, including typing skills and the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
- Knowledge and experience using Microsoft 365 applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, handle difficult customer situations, and assess requests/problems.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge, demonstrating a basic understanding of billing, rates, credit, energy usage, and customer accounts.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and during emergencies.
- Must be able to arrive at the on-site work location within one hour.
- Must be able to meet identified skills and knowledge assessment targets to successfully complete all training.
Education Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A related higher-level degree may be applied toward years of experience.

Additional Notes
This position offers a $500 employee incentive after the completion of the first 6 months and a $500 employee incentive based on performance after 1 year of employment. The position also provides a potential $500 employee incentive for Spanish/English speaking candidates.
