Customer Care Technician
What You’ll Be Doing
The Customer Care team ensures home buyers receive the highest standard of care post-home buying experience. In a customer-facing role, you’ll address questions and provide practical help. Construction or building experience is preferred, but passion for quality and professionalism is key. Reporting to the Customer Care Operations Manager or Customer Care Manager, your responsibilities include:
- Taking instructions from Customer Care Co-ordinators/Administrators, ensuring appointments are on time and materials are sourced.
- Resolving defects quickly to a high standard and getting customer signatures on completed work.
- Completing required paperwork and submitting it to Divisional offices for accurate record-keeping.
- Carrying out inspections of reported defects and issuing full reports with photographs to Customer Care Co-ordinators/Administrators.
- Filling out mileage forms, SHE forms, and invoices, and submitting them monthly.
- Reporting repetitive defects to the Customer Care Manager/Executive for discussion with the Commercial/Technical Director.
What You’ll Need
To succeed in the role, we seek candidates with comprehensive knowledge of construction and strong problem-solving abilities, likely gained through backgrounds in trades such as painting, decorating, carpentry, and joinery. Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, professional demeanor are essential to meet customer expectations.
