About the role

Customer Care Representatives (CCRs) serve as the first contact for inbound calls, answer all incoming calls, conduct outreach calls, monitor social media, and conduct interviews with Marines and/or family members to assess support needs. Based on this assessment, the CCR provides information and guidance toward applicable resources, benefits, and entitlements. The CCR acts as a liaison between the Marine and the entity providing resource support to ensure positive contact and proper relay of information. CCRs document concerns and issues in MCWIITS.

CCRs typically work in shifts supporting 24-hour operations, with schedules dictated by call volume and outreach needs. Initial training lasts two weeks in the Wounded Warrior Call Center from 9:00 AM–5:30 PM. After training, employees transition to the assigned shift.
