About the role

The Customer Care Associate – English & Spanish Bilingual position at First PREMIER Bank and PREMIER Bankcard is designed to provide exceptional customer support. This role requires fluency in both English and Spanish and offers a 10% differential compensation.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer calls, greet customers, and display a positive demeanor.
• Provide customer support via phone, email, or secure messaging for inbound customer inquiries.
• Troubleshoot and research customer issues, using tools and resources to resolve problems.
• Track and document support requests and ensure accurate customer information.
• Verify customer identity based on internal banking protocols.
• Communicate effectively with customers, answering questions about policies, processes, and products.
• Identify potential customer needs and suggest appropriate products to deepen the customer relationship.
• Collaborate with all bank departments to effectively communicate and solve issues.

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone, in person, and in writing.
• Basic computer skills and comfort with navigating standard office software and systems.
• Capacity to learn, adapt to change, and understand and explain products, processes, and policies simply.
• Ability to handle stress, maintain professionalism, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with a minimum of 1 year experience in banking or customer service.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in banking or customer service preferred.
