Customer Advisor

Location: Hatfield, South East – Hertfordshire Sports Village, de Havilland Campus, University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield Business Park, Hatfield, Hertfordshire, AL10 9EU. Full-time (37.5 hours per week), permanent role; part-time applicants welcome.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the customer service team at our front-of-house desk, staying updated on business developments to provide accurate information to guests.
• Handle face-to-face, telephone, and electronic enquiries with a focus on problem-solving and guest satisfaction.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working early, late, and weekend shifts, including bank holidays, as part of the operational team.

Requirements

• Personable, self-motivated, and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Ability to use initiative, work proactively under pressure, and thrive in a busy, friendly team environment.
• Experience in a call centre or customer service environment is desirable, with a strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Maths and English GCSE (grade C/4 or above).
• A-Level or equivalent industry-specific qualifications in hospitality management are desirable.
• High level of written and spoken English is required.
