Working closely with the CAS Lead/CAS Supervisor and the local USCS management team, this individual will contribute to USCS’s key performance areas, including sales, customer satisfaction, cost controls, productivity, accuracy, safety, and sanitation, while maintaining a positive work environment. Focused on continuous improvement, this position assists in the oversight and implementation of all office procedures and activities required to meet customer and administrative support requirements, striving to exceed USCS’s facility and Company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in meeting customer service requirements, building good customer relationships, and ensuring all requests are responded to professionally.
  • Provide administrative support to warehouse operations, including processing inbound/outbound activity, reports, order processing, documentation, and communication.
  • Monitor assigned inventory control functions, including product rotation and recall, customer and carrier claims, reporting, customer requests, and record keeping.
  • Assist in training new office employees.
  • Work with IT personnel to maximize utilization of USCS office operating systems and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure office sanitation, safety, and security activities comply with USCS, OSHA, and government standards.
  • Support the Department Supervisor in meeting Company administrative requirements, including reporting, sales proposals, accounts payable and receivable, and general office functions.
  • Develop strong working relationships within the USCS team to maximize individual and team performance.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor in appearance and communications.
  • Participate in staff and/or customer meetings as required.
  • Take initiative to prevent non-conformities related to product, process, and quality systems.
  • Identify, report, and propose solutions for issues related to product, processes, and quality.
  • Follow posted security procedures and participate in safety and educational training programs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • PC, leadership, and planning skills.
  • Experience with AS400, SAP, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred.
  • Experience with warehouse paperwork preferred.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication, vision, and hearing for safety and productivity.
  • Operate scanners, tablets, radios, phones, computers, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Overtime availability due to demand.
  • Ability to operate a registered motor vehicle if required for daily tasks.
  • Engage in frequent personal interaction and communication.
  • Strong arithmetic and reading skills.
  • Follow verbal and written instructions and company policies.
  • Self-starter able to work independently and coordinate with others.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing stress and meeting productivity guidelines.

Pay

$23.00 - $26.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday - Friday; morning shift (start time to be determined)
