Customer Account Specialist

About the role

SPIROL has over 75 years of manufacturing excellence supporting the aerospace, automotive, industrial, and capital equipment industries. Our Stow, Ohio team is growing, and we are looking for a Customer Account Specialist who thrives in a fast paced environment and enjoys building strong customer relationships while supporting daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Review, enter, and acknowledge customer sales orders accurately and efficiently
• Monitor customer portals and provide timely updates and feedback
• Create manufacturing work orders to support production requirements
• Process credits, billings, and Returned Goods Authorizations (RGAs)
• Maintain customer account information including billing, shipping, and shipping instructions
• Process electronic invoices and Advance Shipping Notices (ASNs)
• Respond promptly to customer emails and inquiries
• Communicate customer delivery changes with Scheduling and Production teams
• Proactively update customers regarding delivery status and order changes

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience in an office or customer support environment preferred
• Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Previous order entry experience with JDE or similar ERP/business systems preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
• Self motivated with strong attention to detail
