About the role
The role of a Custom Experience Concierge at Dry Farm Wines involves ensuring customers have a premium experience with our premium product. This includes curating wine selections, providing personalized service, and fostering long-term relationships.
Responsibilities
- Get Members more of their favorite wines using our technology platforms.
- Curate wine selections based on taste, preconception, and nostalgia.
- Ensure every customer feels heard by getting quick responses to any questions they have.
- Pick up the phone and talk to customers, listening to them, and letting them know you care.
- Learn from customers every day.
- Work with the Custom Experience team to compile insights and data-driven reports that inform future buying decisions.
- Drive new and creative ways to provide a unique, custom experience for each customer.
- Go above and beyond with each and every customer interaction.
- Suggest wines based on taste preferences and curate boxes of pure Artisan Wine based on inventory.
- Create one-of-a-kind Memberships for customers based on their individual taste preferences and fulfill those shipments on an ongoing basis.
- Hand-select each wine for any individual customer, combining knowledge of their personal taste with expert wine experience.
- Taste and give feedback on our wines consistently, both with our group and on your own.
- Build relationships with Members and guide them through their wine journey.
- Proactively help solve customer problems to build relationships with them.
- Understand that wine is subjective and there are no good or bad wines—simply different tastes.
- Work on days: Tuesday - Friday, Wednesday - Saturday.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in a customer-facing position.
- At least 3 years of experience in a luxury hospitality role.
- Strong knowledge of major wine regions, grape varieties, and wine styles, with at least 3 years of experience working in wine.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable discussing wine recommendations, pairings, and cellar selections with customers.
- WSET, CSW, Introductory Sommelier or equivalent preferred but not required.

- Ability to handle high-touch, personalized service.
- WSET, CSW, Introductory Sommelier or equivalent certification.

Schedule
Flexible schedule, with options to work Tuesday - Friday, Wednesday - Saturday, or both.
