As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. You will use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions. Providing solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams is a critical part of this role.

Responsibilities
- Take ownership of specific software components and ensure their quality and performance meet project standards.
- Support and guide less experienced colleagues by sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Analyze complex problems and contribute to the design of effective, innovative solutions.
- Collaborate closely with cross functional teams to align software development with business objectives.
- Continuously improve development processes and contribute to elevating overall team productivity and quality.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in Oracle GoldenGate, Oracle Fusion Cloud, General Ledger, Accounts Payables and Fixed Assets
- Minimum 3 years experience in system analysis, software design and development
- Minimum 3 years experience in Oracle Applications Development
- Minimum 3 years experience in Oracle Financials in a corporate environment
- Strong Oracle SQL, PL SQL, Exadata database and ETL processes development experience
- Associate Degree
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Oracle Cloud Financials General Ledger (required)
- Advanced proficiency in Oracle Exadata Database Service OCI Multicloud (recommended)
- Advanced proficiency in Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Financials Accounts Payable, Oracle GoldenGate, and Oracle Fixed Assets (suggested)
Schedule
This role requires working onsite with the client 3 days per week in Jersey City, NJ or Charlotte, NC.

Hourly salary ranges by location:
