About the role
At Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), one of Danaher’s 15+ operating companies, our work saves lives. The Custom Quality Analyst III evaluates products in support of all manufacturing areas within IDT, adhering to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO13485 requirements. This role involves performing in-process and final QC testing using a variety of molecular biology methods and specialized equipment.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate products in support of all manufacturing areas within Integrated DNA Technologies in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO13485 requirements.
- Perform in-process and final QC testing to determine the pass/fail status of products using a wide variety of molecular biology methods and specialized equipment.
- Train peers to perform and analyze a variety of QC tests according to Standard Operating Procedures and accurately document results via established product specifications, including data entry and peer review for accuracy.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a science related field required. (Biology, Genetics, Chemistry or related life science field preferred); Alternatively, an associate’s degree with 2 years of IDT experience.
- At least three (3) years relevant lab experience and ability to train others.

- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 35lb.
