Job Description
Allied Universal is seeking Custom Protection Officer for a Residential Building located in Lower Manhattan. Positions Are: Full Time
Workdays Available: Candidates should be flexible Sunday - Saturday
Work Shifts Available: Morning, Afternoon, Evening, and Overnight
Pay Rate: $25 / hour
Requirements
- 4+ Years' Military or Law Enforcement or Criminal Justice Degree
Responsibilities
- Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
- Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
- Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter

Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
- Must possess one or more of the following:
- Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms)
- Any support role in a Combat Zone
- Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian)
- Current or prior active military service
- A Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies
- A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch
- An Associate’s degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service
Licensing Requirements
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
