Custom Product Coordinator- Commercial Flooring

Key Responsibilities

• Manage custom sample requests from intake through completion
• Translate customer and account manager needs into clear product requirements
• Track multiple requests, timelines, and priorities simultaneously
• Partner with sales, product development, manufacturing, and logistics teams
• Cook up sample production, material needs, and specification changes
• Coordinate communication of updates, risks, and timelines to stakeholders

Pricing & Product Support

• Aid in custom pricing and product-related requests
• Offer guidance on product options, capabilities, and constraints
• Support account teams in meeting customer expectations and pricing goals

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3+ years of experience in a related role such as: Project coordination, Administrative or operational support, Customer service or sales support, Manufacturing or product support environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience in flooring, carpet, textiles, or manufacturing
• Exposure to custom products or sample-based environments
• Experience supporting sales or account management teams
• Familiarity with systems such as CRM or product/project tracking tools (e.g., Salesforce or similar platforms)
• Basic understanding of product specifications (color, material, construction, etc.)
