About the Role

Eberbach Corporation is seeking candidates to join our team in designing and manufacturing precision laboratory equipment. We are a company with over 150 years of experience in the scientific community, and we are looking for individuals who are passionate about engineering, quality, and customer satisfaction to support our growing product lines, including custom orbital shakers and other laboratory apparatus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manufacture custom orbital shakers and other laboratory equipment per customer specifications.
• Provide engineering support for custom build requests, ensuring precision and durability in demanding laboratory environments.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to create tailored solutions for unique applications in research, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and industrial settings.
• Assist in the development of specialized speed controls, complex platform configurations, and large load capacity systems.
• Support continuous operation and cGMP suitability requirements for heavy-duty shakers and related products.
• Participate in the full product lifecycle from concept through custom build and delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical field within the laboratory equipment industry.
• Strong background in mechanical design, electrical systems, or controls engineering.
• Familiarity with cGMP standards and their application in laboratory equipment manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret customer requirements and translate them into functional, durable product designs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Skills

• Proficiency in engineering design software and tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for customer and team collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Knowledge of laboratory mixing, shaking, and blending processes is a plus.
• Experience with stainless steel fabrication, heavy-duty equipment, or custom top carriers is advantageous.
