About the role
Join the elite talent at Bailey’s Fine Jewelry, a high-volume, high-traffic luxury retailer with a 75+ year legacy of excellence. As a Custom Jeweler, you'll focus solely on custom jewelry, designing and creating pieces from concept to completion in a dedicated studio environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and produce custom jewelry from concept to completion
- Execute advanced bench work, including complex stone setting, fabrication, and finishing
- Create precise, production-ready designs using CAD/CAM software
- Collaborate directly with the owners to design private label collections and one-of-a-kind showcase pieces
- Contribute creatively to Bailey’s evolving private label line, with the freedom to design pieces you’re passionate about
- Uphold the highest standards of craftsmanship, quality, and efficiency
- Work uninterrupted by the daily hustle of retail stores as the sole custom jewelry designer in our corporate office
- Support marketing initiatives by participating in end-to-end content creation
Requirements
- Exceptional bench jeweler skills with experience in advanced goldsmith work
- High-level proficiency in CAD design software (Rhino, Matrix, or similar)
- A strong understanding of manufacturing processes and stone setting requirements
- The ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative environment
- A detail-oriented, organized approach to work
- Comfortable working in a high-volume custom shop
- A passion for fine jewelry, problemsolving, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in custom jewelry design and fabrication
- Experience with CAD/CAM software (Rhino, Matrix, or similar)
- Proven ability to execute complex stone settings and fabrication techniques
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
