Custom In-home Installer

Responsibilities

• Accurately measure spaces (in inches and millimeters) and identifies all obstructions that could impact the customer’s design
• Provides exceptional customer service and protects all customer property, flooring and walls to prevent damage
• Inventories all product and immediately calls in any damaged or missing product to TCS Services
• Removes any existing closet systems and performs basic patch and paint on areas removed
• Accurately and precisely installs per the design plans
• Ensures that each assigned installation and service call is completed on schedule
• Performs service orders, if needed, due to errors, damages or missing product to complete a customer’s space
• Upon completing an installation or service call, inspects work sites and installed units to be neat and thoroughly clean
• Responsible to have tools necessary to accomplish assigned installations (in accordance with established Installer Tool List)
• Responsible for maintaining discretion related to all confidential/sensitive company and customer information

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of twelve months of experience or training in same or related field; or equivalent combination of training and experience
• Weekend hours required
• Must have a valid drivers license at all times as a requirement of employment
• Must be able to clearly communicate in professional manner, both verbally and in writing
• Knowledge of Salesforce Field Service a plus
• Able to safely use a table saw, miter saw, circular saw, router, nail gun, etc.
• Able to measure accurately in inches and millimeters

• Able to work independently and in a team environment
• Experience in working under tight time pressures and able to separate the mission-critical tasks from the lower priority tasks
