Custom Care Technician

About the Role

Lawn Doctor is looking for a dependable, hardworking Fall Customer Care Lawn Technician to join our team for the fall season. This is a hands-on outdoor position focused primarily on core aeration and seeding, followed by late-season and winterization fertilizer applications.

Experience is not our top priority. We can teach you how to operate an aerator, seed a lawn, and properly apply fertilizer. What we can't teach is your character. We're looking for someone who shows up, works hard, takes pride in doing the job correctly, treats customers and their property with respect, and is willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform core aeration and overseeding services
• Operate professional lawn care equipment
• Transition into late-season and winterization fertilizer applications
• Complete scheduled routes efficiently and accurately
• Communicate professionally with customers
• Identify and report customer concerns or lawn conditions
• Follow product labels, company procedures, and safety requirements
• Maintain clean and organized equipment and company vehicles

Customer care is part of the job. When you pull into a customer's driveway wearing a Lawn Doctor uniform, you represent our entire company. Customers will have questions and sometimes concerns. We expect you to stop, listen, communicate professionally, and treat them with respect.

Requirements

• Dependable and ready to work
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical work
• Comfortable communicating with customers
• Able to follow directions and work independently once trained
• Willing to learn and accept coaching
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Previous lawn care, landscaping, equipment operation, or customer service experience is helpful, but not required.

Training

Fall is busy and the work is physical, but we'll provide hands-on training and teach you our equipment, services, safety procedures, and expectations. We're not looking for someone to simply get through a list of lawns. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, takes care of their customers, helps their teammates, and represents Lawn Doctor professionally.

Pay

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
