Care Technician

About the role

As a Full Time Care Technician, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Clermont, FL. The scheduled hours are Monday - Thursday 9a-6p; Friday 8a-5p. Monday–Friday schedule with no evenings or weekends, offering a consistent work-life balance. Join a close-knit, patient-focused clinic team serving county employees, law enforcement, and their families.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients and measures vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height)
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Prepares treatment rooms, cleans and sterilizes instruments
• Performs routine CLIA waived laboratory tests, operates EKG and other diagnostic equipment, and collects specimens
• Performs administrative tasks, assists at the front desk, schedules appointments, makes follow-up calls, and orders medical supplies
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
• Associate’s degree or equivalent from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant Program training program preferred
