Custodian - WMS (Part Time)

About the role

Washington Middle School is seeking a dependable Part Time Custodian to assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, restrooms, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors
• Empty trash and restock supplies
• Set up and take down spaces, furniture, and equipment for school activities and events
• Perform minor repairs and report maintenance needs
• Help maintain school grounds and outdoor areas
• Respond to spills and unexpected clean-up needs
• Secure the building at the end of shifts

What We're Looking For

• Reliable and able to work independently
• Good attention to detail and time management
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stay active throughout shifts
• Basic knowledge of cleaning methods (experience a plus, not required)
