Custodian/Sanitation 2nd shift
About the role
The Custodian/Sanitation 2nd shift position is located at the Underwood facility and falls under the Sub-Department of Sanitation within the Operations Department at Link Snacks.
Responsibilities
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning walls, windows, conference rooms, offices, restrooms, equipment, railing, and all high touch point areas in the facility.
- Cleaning and disinfecting all areas of the facility.
- Stocking custodial supplies for use within the facility and offices.
- Suggest improvements and continuously improve the quality of all support activities.
- Adhere to all company safety policies; wear and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report all incidents and deficiencies to your lead/supervisor/manager.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
- Follow daily sanitation schedule and achieve specified goals.
- Clean facilities and equipment in a timely manner.
- Follow good sanitation practices along with the company's Standard Operating Procedures.
- Utilize the proper chemical for the job and at the specified rate.
- Tasks will vary as situations and demands change. Your lead/supervisor/manager may assign a variety of tasks.

Pay
The hiring range for this role is $18.00 - $20.00 an hour. Actual wages will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Jack Link’s Total Rewards package for Team Members. Other rewards may include annual incentive and program-specific awards. The work environment is a plant / office setting with varying degrees of temperatures and noise levels. Exposure to manufacturing equipment movement and wet / slippery floors.
