About the role
Full-time custodian position based in Queens, New York, reporting to the Facilities Manager.
Responsibilities
- Maintain general cleanliness of the Health Center facilities
- Assist in opening and closing of the facility according to hours of operation
- Perform maintenance and minor repairs
- Check lights, elevator, air conditioning, and boiler are all working
- Follow daily and quarterly cleaning and waxing schedules
- Dispose of garbage
- Maintain order of supply room
- Assist in supplies receivable
- Assist in light moving (e.g., boxes, furniture)
- Assist in messenger duties
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Experience in custodian/maintenance work
- Must be able to physically lift a minimum of 25 pounds
- Bilingual in English/Chinese
Pay
$35,000.00 - $38,000.00 per year
