Custodian Positions

About the role

The Custodian position is the entry level position for the North Allegheny School District. Starting pay is $20.00/hour. Upon completion of training, you will be considered for a full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all school buildings and grounds.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, mopping, dusting, and sweeping.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of events and activities.
• Ensure that all equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored.
• Respond to emergencies and assist with security as needed.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• Child Abuse History Clearance
• PA Criminal Record Clearance
• FBI Fingerprint Clearance
• Mandated Reporter Training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a custodial or related field preferred

Skills

• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
