About the role
Under general supervision of the Government Building Superintendent or Recreation Supervisor, performs janitorial work of average difficulty acting as building custodian on evenings for a facility large and complex enough to require the services of a skilled janitor.
Responsibilities
- Performs janitorial work of average difficulty
- Acts as building custodian on evenings
- Works in a facility large and complex enough to require the services of a skilled janitor
- May be required to work on evenings and occasional building rentals or special events may require later or additional hours
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Minnesota driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge of janitorial procedures and equipment
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
