- Keeps building and premises, including sidewalks, driveways, and play areas neat and clean
- Sweeps classrooms daily and dust furniture and windowsills
- Cleans corridors after school day/during the day when their condition requires it
- Scrubs, hoses down, disinfect toilet floors, and clean all sanitary fixtures and drinking fountains daily
- Cleans windows and other glass areas on the inside and outside on a regular basis
- Keeps the ground free of rubbish
- Performs such chores as necessary to maintain the school grounds in a safe and attractive condition
- Protects and maintains tools and equipment
- Follows safety codes and regulations
- Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance
- Supports the Hattiesburg Public School District Mission, Vision, and Strategic Plan
- Performs other duties as assigned
